Types of Organizations in the Continuous Improvement Journey
When it comes to continuous improvement, organizations typically fall into four categories
Type 01: Do Nothing - These organizations establish standards but make little effort to maintain or improve them, leading to natural deterioration over time.
Type 02: Occasional Big Jumps - These organizations focus on occasional process innovations to elevate standards, but without consistent improvement efforts, standards may still deteriorate.
Type 03: Continuous Improvement Focus - These organizations prioritize continuous improvement through daily Kaizen initiatives, preventing deterioration and steadily raising standards.
Type 04: Small Steps & Occasional Big Jumps - These companies combine regular Kaizen practices with occasional radical improvements, ensuring ongoing elevation of standards followed by continuous improvement.
